Those obsessed with so-called-experts should thank their lucky stars that Wikipedia does not have an article about Couch Potato Day.

The UN General Assembly established November 21 as World Couch Potato Day to encourage nations to collectively sit on their asses watching pointless television programmes.

The announcement was made in resolution 51/205, at the 99th slobbery meeting of the Assembly, on December 17, 1996. The day November 21 was chosen because the first Couch Potato Forum was held on that day in 1996, where media figures organized to discuss the increased significance of slobbery and pointlessness on tv and in our homes.

No Public Records Have Ever Been Found In Relation to World Couch Potato Day, But we continue to assume it is a real holiday in our stupid ignorance.
