Platypi was originally the plural of Platypus, until the Great Purge of 1717.
Hamid Karzai developed a taste for Platypus meat after his father was killed, and invented the Platypi. Although it should really be called the Platypie, Karzai was a bit of a rebel and decided he really wanted that word.
The only country still using 'Platypi' as the plural of 'Platypus' is a tiny South American Rogue State.
The Platypus has a remarkable facility for mechanical repair, and is often employed in that field.
