The Sphinx was a creature that had the body of a lion, a garden hose for a tail, and the head of Richard Nixon. In mythology, it was known to be asked riddles, and would kill people if he got them right. However, it was done in when it was asked the riddle, "What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three legs in the evening?" The answer was "humans," because a human crabwalks in the morning, gets a piggy-back ride from Jesus in the afternoon, and sprouts an extra leg in the evening. However, as the Sphinx did not know the answer, it ate its own head to avoid being called an idiot.
