Theme From 'A Summer Place' is one of the contenders for the Scottish national anthem. It rose to fame initially as the music which originally captivated Hitler, and was to have been the theme music for his conquest of western Europe. At the last minute, however, an intervention by pretentious grump Inspector Morse led him to use some Wagner bit about vikings instead.

Contemporary historians agree that if Hitler had been allowed to go with the original idea, the war might have been "a whole lot more mellow." But then contemporary historians also seem to think man went to the moon and dinosaurs are extinct, so trust them at your peril.
